Upon reading both books, it is clear that the person responsible for cracking the code required for gene editing was, in fact, Jennifer Doudna. Rosalind Franklin before her determined the DNA helix, for which Watson and Crick took the credit... but Jennifer focused on RNA and developed a system of cutting out sections that were malfunctioning, calling the process of altering the human genome CRISPR.
Chapter 34 in The Code Breaker titled "DARPA and anti-CRISPR" explains how her technology was misused:
"The possibility that CRISPR would be used by hackers or terrorists or foreign adversaries began to worry Doudna. She raised these concerns when she attended the 2014 confererence where a researcher described how a virus could be engineered to cary CRISPR components into mice and edit a gense so the mice would get lung cancer." [pg. 259]
This was a far cry from solving spina bifida, childhood cancer, Hurler's, and a host of other genetic diseases. It sent a chill up her spine to know it had the potential to be misused, but misused it was, by those who said "follow the sciene" and refused to put a moratorium on such studies.
It was at the point of her discovery that the PENTAGON began to put massive amounts of money into CRISPR, making the military the largest single source of money for CRISPR research [pg. 260].
What happened next is obvious--an Andromeda Strain was created, a bioweapon called COVID.
Twenty-nine European countries united in consensus against genetic engineering at the Oviedo Convention in Spain in 1997. The Kass Commission in 2003 addressed the similarity to Brave New World and Leon Kass, a bioconservative, stated "the scientific project to master nature could, if we are not careful, lead to dehumanization."
The move to "transhumanism" is a move to dehumanize. It negates the role of GOD and the soul, and "hacks humanity" to create mindless, amoral worker bees.
It is Doudna who organized a team to stop covid's spread in 2020 under the company BioNTech which they dubbed Project Lightspeed.
"BioNTech launched what they dubbed Project Lightspeed to devise a vaccine based on RNA sequences that would cause human cells to make versions of the coronavirus spike protein. Once it looked promising Sahin called Kathrin Jansen, head of the vaccine research and development at PFIZER. The two companies had been working together since 2018 to develop vaccines using mRNA technology, and he asked her whether Pfizer would want to enter into a similar PARTNERSHIP for a covid vaccine. Jansen said she had been about to call and propose the same thing. The deal was signed in March 2020." [pg. 441]
In January 2020, Noubar Afeyan, a Beirut-born Armenian who immigrated to the US was celebrating the birthday of his daughters at a Cambridge restaurant when he got an urgent text message from the CEO of his company, Stephane Bancel, in Switzerland. Bancel said he wanted to launch a project to use mRNA to attempt a vaccine against the coronavirus. At that point MODERNA had twenty drugs in development but none had been approved or even reached the final stagea of clinical trials...Afeyan instantly authorized him to start work without waiting for full board approval. Lacking PFIZER's resources, Moderna had to depend on funding from the US government. ANTHONY FAUCI was supportive. "Go for it," he declared. "Whatever it costs don't worry about it."
Think about this fact: It took MODERNA only two days to create the desired RNA sequences that would produce the spike protein, and 38 days later it shipped the first box of vials to the NIH. [page 442].
I am credibly angry that one of my own gender would work to undermine humanity. Shame on Doudna for allowing her brain to supercede her heart.
