Perhaps like in the women of Iceland, we too need to paralyze the country and open the eyes of many men. We need to hold out by every means possible until men agree to prosecute rape of women and children with the death penalty. Imagine all daycares closed, no restaurant servers, no school teachers, no cashiers, no customer service dept., no physicians assistants, no nurses, no payroll done on time, and, of course, this event would all be done with minimal warning to be most effective.

Because women are the protectors of society, not men; men may engage in war, but it is women that raise children and care for elderly parents. Rare is the man who cares for ailing parents and changes their diapers. WOMEN end up doing that. Women additionally do not "follow the science" off a cliff; they ask questions like, "How will vaccine effect my baby?"

Even good men are allowing their wives and daughters to do battle with transgenders in school systems, the workplace, and sports...all on their own. How many MEN have called members of the House and Senate to demand better treatment for women? How many MEN have called or emailed the White House to demand better treatment for women? 5. no fresh clothes to wear, a mildew smell coming from clothes that assails the nose...
6. no reason for candles; you won't need or receive romance...
7. no holiday parties or invitations, no Christmas cards addressed...
8. no hugs from women or children...ever again
9. no snuggles or sex; hand jobs will be your only option
10. no handmade gifts, baked or sewn...
11. no flower gardens, no vases of flowers beautifying your home
12. no "I love you daddy"s... no Valentines Day Cards
13. no weddings...no tuxes, no first dance, no slow dances... ever again

Wandering down the street in red robes (imitating a book plot few to any have even read) did not get it done. Burning bras did not get it done. Listening to "advice" from women' magazines designed to objectify women as a breast or a buttocks in a pose that looks like death warmed over...did not get it done.
What we should be doing is using BIRTH CONTROL from 1st period to menopause, and refusing to have any more children until men agree to install the DEATH penalty for all who rape a child and the DEATH penalty for all who forcibly rape or kidnap a woman for sex. Those need to be our terms.
In addition, we should be demanding US law recognizes only biological women as women. They did that in the UK, why does the USA continue lag behind like an unwanted stray?
