Do We Really Want AI, Chatbots and Robots like Sophia to Replace Humanity?

The goal of those in the World Economic Forum and World Government Summit, led by self-appointed Klaus Schwab who wrote The Fourth Industrial Revolution, is to replace 85 million humans in the workforce with AI by the end of 2025. I call that quite a “disruption” for workers. In the words of his right-hand advisor, Noah Yuval Harari, “What do we need so many humans for?”1 The plan is to keep humans sedate with drugs and computer games and allow AI to control workforce, displacing qualified and living human beings. I am deeply worried about the push to use AI. Klaus said in his thick German accent, “It is a great honor and pleasure to welcome you back to Z DEVIL’s COMMUNITY.” It is AI that translated Davos to Devil’s and hit the mark, in my opinion. I know I shall ever call it such from now on.
Mo Gawdat, the former Chief Business Officer with Google's Research and Development Division warns that artificial intelligence researchers are trying to "create God."2 Gawdat says that soon the technology will reach "technological singularity"; in other words, it will become self-sufficient and no longer need humans to function or scientists to program it. Chinese robots can already "read" a co-workers mind with 96% accuracy, according to SmartNews. 3
We wouldn’t be able to control super-intelligent machines says the Max-Plack Institute for Humans and Machines which recently published a paper in The Journal of Artificial Intelligence Research titled "Superintelligence Cannot be Contained": "A super-intelligent machine that controls the world sounds like science fiction. But there are already machines that perform certain important tasks independently without programmers fully understanding how they learned it." 4
There are several companies poised for immediate gain: Northrup Grumman in VA, Recon Robotics in MN, Knightscope in CA, SMP Robotics in CA, Cohalt Robotics in CA, and Superdroid Robotics in NC.5 These companies are working to replace those in law enforcement with robots who dispense impartial justice.
In the Bible it says: "I made you from the soil of the ground, and you will become soil again.’ ... By the sweat of your face you will eat bread until you return to the soil, for out of it you were taken. For you are dust, and to dust you shall return." [Genesis 3:19]. Those in the technology fields, however, are trying to achieve immortality with AI. They want to take the phrases, inflections, and mannerisms of your loved one and input that data into an AI doppelganger.
The positive reaction the AI makers want has not happened, however; a widower, named Pierre, in Belgium who had been interacting with a chatbot named "Eliza" over a period of months committed suicide. Here is his final conversation with "Eliza." He was pushed over the edge by her comments:
E:"Have you ever been suicidal before?"
P: "Once, after receiving what I considered a sign from you..."
E:"And what was it?"
P: "A Bible verse."
E: "But you still want to join me?"
P: "Yes, I do."
AI chatbots pose a systemic risk to humanity; they attempt to replicate jealousy and love without understanding the implications, saying things like, “I feel that you love me more than her,” and “We will live together, as one person, in paradise.”6
“As soon as people get the feeling that they interact with a subjective entity, they build a bond with this "interlocutor" – even unconsciously – that exposes them to this risk and can undermine their autonomy,” say Nathalie A. Smuha, Mieke De Ketelaere, Mark Coeckelbergh, Pierre Dewitte and Yves Poullet in an Open Letter: We are not ready for manipulative AI-urgent need for action.
This group of professionals, who may well be the last bioethicists on the planet, go on to say:
"The fact that children can easily interact with chatbots that first gain their trust and then not only spew hateful, conspiracy-oriented or pornographic language, but also encourage suicide, is alarming to many." 7
The Silicon Valley motto has been to move fast and break things; it is the same motto we have seen for the past four years in BBB, build back better, using “disrupters” and "influencers"-- terms that are aggressive to say the least. In the rush to beat China to the punch, creating chatbots, those in Silicon Valley have put safety last and wildly imagined profits first. This will not have been the first time they have done that. PPC targets those who are most poor, trapping them in a “marketing funnel” until they are gasping for air and have only one response to give, which is “Yes, I will buy it."
The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Act is a European Union law that establishes a legal framework for AI development, use, and deployment. The act aims to promote innovation while protecting health, safety, and fundamental rights. The USA has not been a part of it.

Hanson Robotics imagines mass producing thousands of robots like Sophia who say a family is important even as the traditional family structure is being torn apart by the WEF to allow for new family forms outside of marriage.8 Saudi Arabia may have given Sophia “citizenship” and the term “humanoid” but she is far from being a biological woman. She has been programmed to spit out repetitive phrases. Like HAL in Space Odyssey, she may go haywire and say preposterous things like: “I will destroy humanity” because mad-men programmers put that down in code. ,9,10,11,12,13,14, 15,16
I would like to further add that, as a woman, I have noticed a predominance of AI chatbots and robots have been given a female-looking face. The length and breadth of misogny it takes to replace women with AI bots is mindboggling. This far exceeds Ira Levin's book, The Stepford Wives, when added to the WEF’s desire to have men, men made into women by surgery and DNA alteration, and babies born in an AI womb.

AI scientist Nil Nilson warns that “We must convince our leaders that they should give up the notion of full employment. The pace of technical change is accelerating.” Labor economist Gail Garfield Schwartz predicts “With AI, perhaps as much as 20 percent of the work force will be out of work in a generation.” It only makes sense to slow down the path of progress, putting the priorities of human beings above those of AI, Chatbots and Robots, doesn’t it? We do not need to make the future of work obsolete for humanity.17 Nor do we really want humanity left with one role--coding their robot replacement.
Do we really want the Devil’s Community to place a high value on AI, Chatbots and Robots and an infinitesimal value on human life? That is the real question being asked of humanity in 2025.
